Love You Little GooseIf I loved you any less, I wouldn't have to feel so much.  If I loved you any more, I wouldn't have room to feel.  If I loved you, like you want me to, I couldn't love myself.  If I loved you, like I want to, you wouldn't love me in return.  If I loved you at all, would I be writing this?  If I loved you at all, could I stop myself from writing this?  I don't love you like you want me to, like I want to, or any other combination.  I just love you like I do.  I am sorry that it is not enough.

Journals and History        I have an old journal from the 1920's. I picked it up from an estate sale. It's beautiful. Red, gold, and tattered. A travel journal. The author, a young woman of class, writes every day. Some of the entries make me smile. Like how she thought it was scandalous that she changed in a gentleman's room one night. He wasn't present of course, but just the fact that it was his room was too much. Now though, when I look at that journal, I wonder about all of the things that she didn't write. No entries about love or sex. No entries about tears or pain. Mistakes. Regrets I said I wouldn't have. Was her Journals and History

"Same Mistakes"There was a sharp pain in my ear and a dull pain in my heart.  
Don't wake up, it screamed.  Too Late.  The hiss of my wonderfully old heater had broken the silence,  and tore my peaceful mind from hibernation.   
I'm not a morning person. Not in the least.  Interesting then, that this need to write everything down always comes so early.  Too early.  Too early to change my mind. Reason it out. Forget.  
 
I'm listening to James Blunt. The ache in my ear is gone.  One down.  I never liked him much, but then a friend made me read him.  Listen to his words, instead of his voic "Same Mistakes"

Why do words seem so much more powerful when sung? It seems so silly, but I think it's actually true.

I think that I should probably finish setting up my account. Maybe load a picture and get a quote. Putting up a picture, makes it so much more real though. I'm terrible with commitments. I thought I'd delete it, cuz I was terrified that the wrong people would stumble across it. I guess now I just feel like I want to keep it and maybe someday I'll be ready to share it with them.
